Intergenerational Mentoring for Language Preservation
To support the Intergenerational Mentoring for Language Preservation project to provide traditional education following the language, customs and ceremonies of the Iroquoian Longhouse and the culture of the Allegany Seneca People. Young men and women who have received language training will continue their studies while mentoring young children as teachers and care-givers and fluent elders will work with children on a regular basis.
