For general support to provide in-school and after-school arts education programming to underserved grade school students in various Chicago public schools. Barrel of Monkeys (BOM) is an arts education theater ensemble that creates an alternative learning environment in which children share their personal voice and celebrate the power of their imaginations. BOM's arts education programming consists of teaching fundamental writing skills, building self-esteem, adapting childrens' stories to the stage and showcasing those stories to create community recognition.
