About the Author

JAMES HILLMAN became the first director of the Jungian Institute in Zürich in 1959. Selected as on of Utne Reader's top 100 "people who could change your life," he has written more than twenty books, including The Soul's Code, Suicide and the Soul, and the Pulitzer-nominated Re-visioning Psychology, and was an editor, with Robert Bly of The Rag and Bone Shop of the Heart. He lives in Connecticut.
