Center for Contemplative Mind In Society Contemplative Law Program Williamsburg, MA	To promote contemplative practice to the legal community, as a means of responding to dissatisfaction within the legal profession and with legal education, by reconnecting the study and practice of law with inner resources through contemplative practice.	$250,000 2 years
East Bay Center for the Performing Arts Awake: Art, Buddhism, and The Dimensions of Consciousness Berkeley, CA	To support a multiphase program focusing on the relationships between meditation practices and the arts in America, with particular emphasis on the impact of Buddhism and contemplative practice on American culture from World War II to the present. A consortium of San Francisco Bay Area cultural and educational institutions will work together to develop individual projects that will make up the overall program, and bring about new modes of public engagement with the arts.	$298,000 3 years
