Joshua Venture

Modeled on similar projects in the secular world, the Joshua Venture is the first fellowship program within the Jewish community to focus on supporting the visions, ideas, and programs of the community’s emerging leaders. Utilizing a cross between "venture capital" and "business incubator" models, the Joshua Venture offers a two-year fellowship to eight people age 21-35 who are creating innovative organizations and projects that will contribute to a vibrant and pluralistic American Jewish community. An in-depth entrepreneurial training and development program will create a curriculum bringing together the entrepreneur—the innovator of new ideas—with the technical assistance and training necessary to launch new organizations in a successful and fiscally responsible manner. A meaningful Jewish educational component will further round out the richness of the fellowship experience.
